Spot or dot?

Not sure what I got. Sorry no pic's. It looks like a sesame seed. There stuck all over the place. On rocks, on the glass, even on a snail (not on any fish). I've had them for about a week and they look the same. Nothing new in the tank. Nothing has changed otherwise. Could this be some type of egg or something? Any HELP would be great. Thanks
