:fun4:I caught a Spotfin Butterfly fish this past weekend at St. Andrews. It took me about 5 or 6 hours to acclimate him but he seems to be doing great he has plenty to eat I have been wanting one for a while and dioing some research and it seems they will eat sea anemones, I just hope he will have an appetite for aptaisia, he is a beautiful animal. I would also love to put together a tank with all animals from the northern Gulf of Mexico but I don't think my wife wants ne to do that right now.

nice,i brought home some cool tangs that i dont what they were a few years ago and some angels and some sargeant majors...its nothing compared to what i got from key largo but there was some cool stuff at st.andrews....

This guy is doing great and the tankmates are pretty well leaving him alone and he seems to have developed an appetite for the algea growing in the tank, he is cleaning the rock, just hope he starts wanting aptasia.

St. Andrews Bay, I belive its a man made area where there are all types of coral and reef fish from gobies to sharks, its down around Panama City area. Just google it. Its in a state park.

I checked with the Florida consrvation officer that was down there and he said it is legal if you have a valid saltwater fishing license and the animal you capture is not protected or out of season and within size limits. There are quite a few regs available on there website just google Florida satwater fishing regulations.

Tanks for the correction. Im glad you had info on that, I was under the wrong impression by fellow enthusiust. Does it address anything about some of the corals out of curiosity?
