Never had that on any marine fish, from what I can tell, it looks like some type of fungus, from everything that I have read or seen in any of the books or articles that I have. I'm not sure what treatment would be best. You might want to set up an emergency hospital tank to treat him when you get a good diagnosis. good luck.

I belive you may be right..
At first I was thinking it may have been some kind of fluke but this morning the two big spots on the right side have kind of peeled off like a sunburn would so its not a worm its more like dead skin.
The good news is he has a very healthy appetite still.

I was looking thru one of my marine aquarium books and came across what appears to be Brooklynella hostilis or anemonefish disease. (The Conscientious Marine Aquarist) It is deadly and demands quick diagnosis and treatmant. You are going to need a ht set up for him as soon as you can. Look it up and see what you think. They are classifying it as a parasite and not a fungus. These things are sometimes hard to pinpoint. But make sure to do your research before treating and try to find out every thing you can, your fish can and will get better . Good luck

Act fast! Discovered my hippo fading yesterday with ICH and started treatment this morning and am already missing quite a few of the spots!
