Spotted file fish?

I was looking at one at the LFS today. The owner says they can be picky eaters. He said I should wait to see if they can get it to eat prepared food. He also said that in the wild they eat brine shrimp?
What are your thoughts on keeping one long term?
I seem to remember reading they dont do well in home aquariums?

Very bad fish to have. They may eat brine but there main diet is sps... One of the fish i think should stay in the ocean

2nd that - they specialize in eating SPS polyps. We got one in at the store I used to run. Got it to eat mysis, it still died after a month. That was the 1st & last one we tried.

Super cool looking fish, to bad it's not suitable to keep.
