Spreading the Love

I received a new coral from Dr. Fosters today. (Acropora Nasuta) I took some pictures and got one that I'm pretty happy with. This is a hobby of shared experiences, so I wanted to share this picture with everyone. It's free to use as you wish. I'm just spreading the love.

Very nice. What camera/lens are you using to take these?

To be honest, it was more luck than skill. I used a plain 'ole Canon PowerShot A400. That and I had a good subject to work with. As for a website, no, there's no website but that's an intriguing idea.

So were the pictures taken through the tank or were you using a box to take them from inside the tank?

Through the tank, that coral is sitting on the starboard about 1" from the front glass while it acclimates to my lighting.

Looks very good, especially since it was taken through the glass...
