Yes mcpuff. Im going back to a traditional reef upstairs with peaceful reef fish old classic way. And moving all angels down stairs in 14k. If i must i might do some acro , pocillapora or turbinera. Ie easy hard corals Rest will be sea fans gorgonians etc. i have a feelling the upstairs sps tank will be harder work than in basement esp 6 ft wide tank. And maybe if i can recreate half of what joe did at riverhead aquarium, i think i will enjoy the downstairs monster better. We are still trying to figure out how we dealing with nutrients downstAirs I mean gfo is not an option. Too big. Lathium drip? Biobellet tower ? How low does nitrate need to be downstAirs vs reef tank. We still talking.
How deep is the new sps tank? Will halides penetrate deep?

although your repeated comment is funny, its also untrue ... its called competition. Theres more into it as well, which I wont get into.

If you know more about it please do tell. I'm sure we would all like to know what on Earth is going on here. Reef Central does not offer any service that matches Reef Builders' daily news and reviews service so I don't see them in any form of competition. So what is it all about, then? I go to several sites to learn about reef keeping, not just this one. No-one owns my eyes exclusively.Allmost said:

Guys we have been busy at new house still investigating this phase 1 or phase 3 power issue the issue is the amount of amps im allowed in house under code with phase 1. It maybe not enoughfor house generators and tanks. Meantime concrete and rebar poured. Ill take some pics. On this whole reefbuilder issue. Whatever.
it went to the breaking point when RB declared RC was dead(while it was actually going through some maintenance, hence went off-line)..afterward this taboo started..
off course things must started before that...but i was there when the aforesaid reporting happened...the write-up is still there...
