hey im running 20 cree 3w cool white and 20 royal blue....i like it but i had to add two t5 to add more color in. so, i wanted to know what you guys think i should do.

should i have 2 cree uv leds to each side replacing two whites and then add 1 red to each side replacing two more whites??? i want to do this but im scared about the way the color of the tank will turn out. right now everything looks kinda washed out everything but blues

having multiple colors will definitely enhance your preference in color. the best choice here is to control each color individually, either with dimmers or a controller like the apex... do you have the ability to dim each color now? if not, you may want to add individual dimmers to the 2 colors you have and see if you can get a blend you like.

right now i can only dim the whites and blue...but if i replaced the white the uv and red would dimm with the whites...but i think the uv would look good no matter what

you're right, my only concern is having the different colors on 1 string. you may get lucky and like the color but then again you may not.

lolright now im running pinkish colored t5 so i may not need anymore color i may just need to give my color more time or maybe change the bulbs to a diffrent color

add actinics and a full spectrum t5 the color will come out eventually. or replace some with the uv violets but they are only 700 ma while whites are 1500ma so you will have to adjust your driver. Rapid led seems to be on top of led spectrums needed
