I would look into a larger skimmer. In the real world a 185G reef tank with a 50G sump is going to need something more like a SRO 3000.

The Reef Octopus Dual 6 Recirculating not enough? It is rated for 250G.

As for your lighting I run 2 250W MH lights over my 75G reef. You should look into 2-4 400W MH lights for your size tank depending on the dimensions and if keeping corals.

I just got my hands on a Hamilton Reefstar 400w. Will get one more soon. So I will have 2 for a 52x30x28 tank. Do I need more?

I also dont feel 2 MP40s will be enough flow again depending on tank dims, they are a good start though.

Should I go with 2x mp60 instead?

No the Dual 6 was rater for 200G on the site I looked at, I would really go bigger. Normally you want to go at least one size larger than what the manufacturer says will run your sized tank. 2 reefstars should be good. I would go with 3 MP40 just to add one more dimension of flow.
