SPS - Blue, Red or Purple

Hey everyone, looking for some options / recommendations for exactly what the title says.

The wife has given me an ultimatum, no more fish tank purchases unless they are red, blue or purple.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Oregon tort is a nice deep blue, blueberry fields is nice too.

Red planet is a must have.

Garf bonsai- best purple ever.. except for purple monster
Oregon tort for blue, or pearlberry or some of the very nice blue tenuis. With intense light, a cali Tort will also get very blue..
Red planet is a good red with intense light..
Jason fox flame is a nice red as well or red diablo..

I would say Darth maul porites is the best red in any sps hands down. My question is why is your wife so invested in what colors go into the tank? I would guess not a lot of people have that happen, unless she is in the hobby like my wife is. I am constantly regulated on what I can and can't do :angryfire:

Milka stylophora is a nice purple

I wish my wife would tell me to buy something for the tank! I get the what did you buy now eyes everytime I come home from the Lfs.

Oregon Tort like others have said is the best blue you can find.

Other good options would be Hawkins, IceFire, Palmers Blue Millie

Good Reds are Setosa, Red Planet, Red Dragon, maybe even a simple red monti cap

Purple is tricky as it blends in so well with coraline algae and doesn't glow under actinics or blue leds very well. I'd stick with purple fish. Purple Tang, Royal Gramma, Purple Queen Anthias

Mystic Sunset Monti is a great red as well

If you have the skills you can't beat purple monster. I've always been a big fan of the cali and Oregon torts.

Copps Blue Azure Stag is the deepest blue coral I've ever seen. Better than an Oregon Tort in my opinion.
