SPS Colonies For Sale - NJ

I have the following Colonies/Frags for sale.

I prefer local pick up but I will ship. All buyers pay full shipping costs plus Paypal fees.

I am selling a lot of my colonies to make room for some of my existing large colonies and some of the nice Monti’s I am looking to put into my tank. I use 3 400w 10K XM’s over my 180. These are the last of the corals I am selling out of my tank, also the large Red w/ Blue rim Hyacinthus table that you will see in some of the below pics is not for sale or available for fragging.

If you want me to hold the colony for you I will do so but for only 24 hours then I require Paypal to hold the corals, no exceptions. Half of the below corals I was “holding” for a few different people that never followed up so if you are one of those people (and you know who you are), sorry. Please PM if you wish to purchase any of them.

1- The first is a nice baby blue Hyacinthus that is just now starting to table out ward from the edges after growing from about a 2 inch frag I got a year ago. $125

2B- This one is 5x6 and is attached to a large piece of rock - $100 I have had it for about 10 months and it has grown very nicely.

3- The third is a frag I have grown out from Atlantis Aquarium it is a neon pink millie and has green highlights (polyps). $45

4- The Forth is a aqua blue tip stag $125, it is an aqua culture piece I got about a year ago from Premium Aquatics, it is about 4x5 it also has a small pink Pocillopora growing on its base. It is a very quick grower and has doubled in size in the past year.

5- The last one is a table that I have had for about 14 months. It has light blue tips. However because of all of the corals growing around it, it has lost most of its blue tips and the base is bleached out because all of the corals around it are blocking the light and flow to it; it will needs some TLC. It is very heavily encrusted so when I break it off it may break into more then one piece, you will get them all. For all of these reasons I am selling it for only $55

What's the purple coral in front of 2b that looks really nice.

My Blue Tort, sorry not for sale, though I may have some frags after I change around my rock work this weekend.

Just curious if you don't mind me asking. What are your tank parameters? Calcium, Alk, Mag, and Nitrates. Also what type of flow and lighting do you have? I am impressed with the look and growth of the coral pics. I appreciate your help. BILL

No problem-

Calc is usually around 425 ish
Dkh around 10ish
Never have monitored Mag but whern I do test for it it is always on target.

I use a calcium reactor (K2R) and run ARM media and that has always kept my levels in check, I also dose Kalk in my make up water to help keep my PH up.

Flow- 2 Tunze 6100's, I also have 3 maxi jet 1200's hidden behind the rock work that only come on during the sun up and sun down period of the tank. They clean out everything form behind the rock sand, detritus, etc. This helps to stop any build up behind the rock and push it to the fron where all of my critters deal with it, cucumber, snails, etc. I also use a pretty big return pump that push water through out the tank but mostly thorugh my rock work.

Lights- sun up I have 2 6 foot VHO 50/50's on for about 2.5 hours, same thing for sun down. The rest of the day I do not use the VHO's. During this time I use 3 400watt XM 10K's; all 3 bulbs are only on together for about 4 hours a day, the rest of the time the bulbs ycyle on and off in 1 hour intervals, with 2 being the most that is ever on during this time period.

I run Ozone directly into my skimmer as well I pull air from the outside of my house. My skimmer is a DAS skimmer, the design is a Delted that DAS pays to use.

I have a good size clean up crew, lots of blue legs (I put in about 100 every 6 months) a bunch of snails (various types) 3 cleaner shrimp, a pair of Harlequin shrimp (though they are show and tell more then clean up crew, I have had them over 8 months now and they are each the size of my thumb!)

As for fish I have about 10 anthias, a pair of wantanabei angels, a chevron tang, pair of skunk clowns, a six line wrasse, a pair of green chromis, a Regal Angel and I am probably leaving out 1 or 2 other fish, oh and I just picked up this bad boy....

Any other questions just let me know.

WOW that sounds like one setup you have there. Makes me think mine is a piece of crap. I have been able to keep my calcium at 425 and alk at 9.2. I started using the diy two part. I only have a seio 1200 for flow along with the mag 9.5 return pump. I notice my SPS polyps wiggle a little so I assume they are getting enough flow. Since I started with the 2 part I have noticed some increased growth. I am currently using 14k bulbs I think I am going to replace them with some XM 10,000k 250 watt. My lighting is 2 - 250 watt halides with 2 - 39 watt T-5's for actininc supplementation. I thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. Next time you are selling some small frags I might pick a couple up from you. I am in South Jersey near Deleware. I am making the assumption you are near the shore. Take care and thanks again. BILL
