Ok, my LFS listen to me and started getting in stuff I want, so I want to support them. They have in a baseball sized blue acro colony and it has a crab!!!!!
The problem is i don't want to place it in my system without a good dipping, but I don't want to kill the crab. HOW DO I SAFELY REMOVER THE CRAB?? I want to remove him, dip the colony, rinse twice reintroduce the guy, then place in my DT.
What do you guys think?

It is really hard to remove the crab without hurting it. I highly suggest you dip the coral. Most that come with crabs are wild cultured sps and may have pests. A piece of meaty food and some tweezers are your best bet to it the crab out. If you do you can put it on any other acro in your tank.

Well my toothpick herding plan worked great! Got him out after about 5 minutes of ring around the acro and dipped my coral. I rinsed the colony 3 times to make sure all the CoralRX was out of the branches and coaxed him back into the colony. Thanks for the tips everyone!!!!!!!

Hem might not be the prettiest acro crab ever (my dismal photo skills dont help) but I love him and hes mine now!!

take the coral out of the water with a thin pick just poke the crab gently and he will fall out easily done this a couple times worked really well.
