SPS Dominated-Sumpless 20G

I have a couple questions about a tank I might be setting up. Ive had a 20G tank in my garage for some time now. Ive decided to set it up as mainly a SPS tank. I also dont want a sump( for simplicity reasons) I will be building a stand this week so Im pretty ready to setup. Only thing else I need to buy is a skimmer. My question is has anyone on here had success with a tank this size maintaining SPS with just a skimmer ( Aqua C Remora, Deltec MCE600?) I want to run either skimmer plus two Maxi-Jet 1200's or SEIO 620 for flow. The lighting will be all T5's. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Later Ryan

im goign to do 150 DE 14k halide on my 29 with 1 175 gph filter, CSS65 skimmer, adn seio 620, no sump, my tanks has been sumpless for a long time, no problems, ive seen lots of sumpless sps, jus tneed good filtration from rocks and sand

i had a reef 55g for 4 yrs. untill ice storm couple yrs. ago. never used a skimmer, only a magnum 350 carbon/floss. 2 ph marineland 1140@300gph. few water changes, mostly added for evaporation. 8 small-med. fish reason for carbon, otherwise against it in reef. DSB & LR is all you need besides circulation. i now have 4 nano reefs with a 50g in the works for next week.

here is a 20 i have that i put a false wall in to hide equipment and ensure awesome surface skimming

not much to look at here - it is quite the mess - its just being used as a frag tank now but the idea may be worth considering.......

Here is a link to a 35 hex SPS tank i ran with 4 seios and and aqua c only - i don't remember if i posted this link or not in your other thread - this one has no false wall just the remora and its prefilter/overflow box

easily done - just plan ahead and also consider a MH pendent unless you all ready have the T5's JMO
