sps dying

Hello,

i moved some frags to my non used aquarium for months, it has only rocks and all parameters seems ok, and it has a lot of Caroline algae
the next day i find the flesh of the sps coming out as if something tear it apart and it starts from bottom
i checked parameters and i already have sheets under the led light
the sps is doing good in the frag aquarium but not in this (although almost same water parameters and led lights)

while checking it today (most of sps is already dead) i discovered worms moving on the sps as below

could you advise if this could be the problem and how to kill these worms, i prefer to have something eat it than using any chemicals

That looks like a bristleworm eating the dead flesh of the frag. Not likely to be the cause of the problem.

Agreed, bristle worm doing what clean up crews do. Cleaning up dead stuff. No need to try and get rid of them. Although if there are a lot of them in the tank it could be a sign of excessive feeding and high nutrient. I wouldn't think either would be the cause of RTN/STN. The coral in the background looks very bleached, lights might be a good place to start.

maybe i should have acclimate it for light in the new aquarium
by the way the aquarium stayed with no fish for almost a year with no feeding, so it is not an excess feeding, and i dont know why suddenly i start to see a lot of these worms since i added the frags

also, today after i came home i see what seems flat worms on the glass

can you confirm what are these

If the tank sat for a year with no fish then were there water changes being done to keep it healthy? It's possible either nitrates or phosphate rose up. They are products of life, not just from feeding. I've generally not encountered any trouble from any of the variety of inverts that live on the rock as they all seem to be dettritovores. With an immediate obernight rtn, i would be more suspicious on water quality and movement.

You may wanna look into resizing pictures before uploading, when they're so big that they're 8x the size of the screen it's unlikely many people will see them.
