SPS Feeding Question

This is a dumb question, but ive heard of spot feeding SPS and I heard they don't need to be fed and will get food from nutrients in the flow.

Can anyone clarify this?

There are good threads on this subject, and yes they eat. Keep in mind the particles they pick up are of smaller microns than say dumping in Mysis. I like to feed all day, then dose acropwer all night via a doser, and the results are great in my experience. I also made a doser for reef chilli and gonipower that utilizes a bubbler and my ato that runs when top off is needed. We fill the food into the reservoir, the bubbler keeps it suspended, and over the next couple hours it dumps into my return chamber feeding my FT and DT.
