SPS First Timer

Im looking to get into some sps slowly. What would you guys and gals recommend as some good starter frags?

I have a ponape torch birdsnest that has always grow like a weed. My green slimer has always had top color regardless of my parameter swings. I would give those two a try.

Monti caps, Digitata and A.yongei aka Green Slimer. These are very hardy, fast growers making them cheap and easy to get. The colours that are available for these 3 are some of the brightest you will see, as far as SPS go.
Get these growing in your aquarium and when you are on a roll you can easily justify poking in the odd rare SPS to satisfy your thirst for more.

Birdsnest, IME, is the easiest.

Pocilipora, encrusting monti, validia, hoeksemai.
Just make sure you got the light and flow they need, and you will learn the rest.
Plus you can't go wrong with some of the advice here!!!!!

Thanks! I will have flow as soon as my mp40 arrives. I will give some of these suggestions a try. Right now i have 3 maxspect mazzara p series. Should be plenty of light. If and when i really get into sps i will get a fourth module and squeeze it in there. Thanks for the ideas.
