SPS Flow Question

I for the last two years ran bare bottom with about 80x turnover. Well, long story short I never got the acro results that I was looking for so I added sand and made other changes to the system.

My question is, like many SPS freaks I also like some LPS-and the bottom third of my tank is lobos, acans, and zoas. At what turnover ratio are you all getting good enough flow for your sps but not blasting your lps. Ever since I took out some of my flow I'm seeing better response from lps.

I'm running two mp40's(150 gal cube), but I have in my garage like every number hydor ever made that I could add to these.

I think it can vary a lot from species to species. I would just go by a visual inspection. I don't think you will have a problem as long as you aren't blasting your lps. As long as they are inflating properly I don't think you have to worry much.
