I use coral frenzy about 2x per week - mix it in with the DIY fish food that I feed and keep the return pump off for about 30 minutes. Fish get fed 2x/day with auto feeder in addition to the DIY feedings.
Yes i feed the corals 5 times a day and none of them are big let alone huge. I feed heavily for color not growth and things seem to be going along well. We all achieve similar results doing vastly different things in this hobby.

I am total jealous that you have that much time with your tank. Someday when I retire I too will be feeding 5 times a day. By the way that's why your sps look amazing.

It's not really too time consuming to do mate. In the morning i get up and get a pinch of roids from the fridge and rub two fingers together under water for about 10 secs, i do the same with cyclopeeze powder about 30 mins later or whenever the kettle has boiled for my coffee. In the evening i do the same thing starting 30-60 mins after lights out and feed the tank a pinch every hour or so three times. It takes literally 30 secs to do a feed. I have the skimmer off when feeding btw. The pods and mysis which reside in the display go nuts when i feed and the whole tanks micro life is swarming with all sorts of things lol. These will be contributing to a constant food source in the water - not just when i feed coral food.
I hope you follow what i'm trying to say about my method, it isn't just about feeding the corals a lot, i believe the large feeding is contributing to a system very full of life that also contributes to the coral's nutrition overall 24/7.
Before i get into trouble yet again for leading anyone astray i just want to point out that i'm not suggesting anyone else do what i do with a tank full of wild SPS. I'm just explaining why i do it.
