SPS ID maybe a monti of some kind?

Nobody local to me can even begin to guess what this is. Maybe some body on here can clue me in to what this is. Its a real slow grower, barely grown any in the year i have had it. I gave a 3x3 piece to a friend and his has turned blue, whereas mine is green.

Not a 100%, but it looks like Merulina ampliata to me.

Whatever it is..it looks aggressive so I'd be careful placing other corals around it
