Looks like some type of Pavona to me, P. cactus or P. venosa would be my two guesses.

Pretty common, nice corals though.

I don't know if it is rare or not, but definitely Pavona Cactus and Maldivensis are the most commonly seen, IMO. Looks like a nice piece, they used to be one of my favorite corals, they still are really. I think maybe my next frag should be one. Thanks for renewing an interest in one of my old favs. Good luck with yours.
