Sps identification

I rescued this sps from my daughters tank. Her phosphates are high and she has switched out some things so the tank is undergoing a crisis. This is a small sps frag - the only one in her tank- I placed it in mine since my parameters are perfect. I have zero phosphates and all levels are at my goal points. I think this sps will recover but I have no idea what it is. Any help is much appreciated!

Yeah be careful. When stressed (which that certainly is) those will evacuate the main colony in an attempt to find greener pastures. They will end up growing all over the tank. Polyp bailout.

No problem. It's a pretty coral IMO but not highly valued. Extremely tough though and quick growing.

I keep mine trimmed small and on the bottom glass of he tank to more easily control it's spreading.

I use a pair of dikes or bone cutters. Or sometimes I just break it apart with something else if I'm not intending to keep the fragments. The frags from it don't sell well IME. Haha
