sps issues with new light in ULNS

Hi, I have a ULNS sps 60 cube. I don't carbon dose or use biopellets, but I have both a remote DSB and a remote macro fuge which are about 30 gallons together. In a year I never get any NO3 above 0.5 ppm and 99% of the time my PO4 is 0.00 ppm (Lab tested). Im not boasting, im struggling to increase nutrients since my growth has been good but colors pale.
I have changed from Radion led to 250w phoenix 14k 2 weeks ago.

Here's my problem. Half my corals were pale before and with the new light are coloring up very well. But, the corals that were good under the led are getting pale and the acro's tips look awful. Pale and delicate, like they dried up. Two days ago I placed a screen under the MH which reduced intensity by 30%. I have heard in low nutrient tanks params should not be higher than seawater. So I'm slowly lowering Alk from 9.3 dkh to 7.5-8 dkh. Anyone experience this acro tip problem due to light or chemistry? I' d like to hear your solution. Thanks

You can run your alk at 8, won't hurt to try that at all. You could also dose a small daily amount of amino acids. I use LIFO by NatuReef. It's one drop per 25. Easy to use and I've noticed better polyp extension while using it and maintaining a LNS.

Have any pictures?

make sure your lights are in the right par range you are roasting them with to much light if you changed the light and thats all thats different.

Only use GFO from time to time. Phos normally stays at 0 ppm with fuge and DSB alone. Par is higher than radion, but I started with only 4 hrs MH photoperiod, the radion at max power was 6.5 hrs. Nevertheless, I feel the screen reducing MH intensity by about 30% may help. Your ideas are inline with mine. But I'm open to anymore suggestions too. Thanks

I am having a similar problem and have started dosing Red Sea Energy A&B with some good results. Still a little early to tell

Skimmer for my sized system (not oversized) . TBH , it works fine but I don't get much skimmate about a cup per week. I assumed its cuz there's not much to remove. WC's 7% per week. 2 tbsp's of BRS rox carbon passive in a bag in my sump, changed at 2-3 weeks. Amino' s added a few times per week and corals target fed 4 times per week, a mix of roterfiers, zooplex, DT oystr eggs and KZ coral vitalizer
