sps nano Robertus

Thanks, they do well in this little aquarium.
The fan and the other gorgonia waves in the current and give movement in this sps dominated enviroment.

Robertus.

Hello,

@ E30 E T A : The background is thin foam plate normally used for aquariums. I need all the space i have so I used very thin plate.

@ lgoins : When I clean the aquarium I stirr and flatten the sand, clean the window, sometimes I blow over and behind the rockscape to remove dirt accumulated behind the rocks. Then I stop the pumps, remove the filterfloss in the overflow( mechanical filter) with the accumulated dirt, clean the foamcup. I put new filterfloss in the overflow and start the pumps again.

Absolute stunning

Very, very impressive tank.....

I do not consider it a nano though... I remember when a 55 was considered a big tank and a 120 was huge.

Hello Dave,
Thanks for your replie.

It is called a nano not because of its small size ( 50G ) but because this aquarium contains almost exclusivly nano animals.

Robertus.

Love all the pics Robertus. I saw in the last pick that you have a sunburt anthia. I have three in QT right now and was wondering what you have found that they like to eat? I am having a hard time finding anything that they will eat on a regular basis. Thanks.

amazing tank! I have seen this before on the zeovit forums!

fwiw I think the international perspective of nano is a little different too, but even from a US perspective this is certainly too small to be large. It's somewhere between a nano (40g or less) and a medium, but closer to a nano.

Hello,
I have had the sunburst anthias now for 4 years and it eats almost everything now.
In the beginning they really liked lobster eggs!! These eggs come everywhere when given and they feed well.
If not you should try live artemias.

Robertus.

Thanks,

Nano or not,
The name doesn't really matter.
It is easy to maintain.
And it can be beautifull if cared for.
