sps nazi's...this question is for you

I have upgraded my old 55 to a 128...I've read some people don't add corals for 3 months or more. I used all my old water. Started a cycle with TLC bacteria. Have all my old rock in there, and 2 false percs. Along with some gsp. Question is when can I add my sps back in there...I had my 55 overstocked so I have quite a bit. I have a friend coral sitting for me, so they are all good, but would like to get them home to papa soon...any suggestions ??

also have an aquatic system design reactor,and skimmer from ASM(it's too small for this system G1x) getting a new one soon

Put your toughest in first. And the frags idea is an extremely good one, especially with those dear to your heart.

Digitata is a good Mikey-try-it coral. Nothing I can do dissuades it. I frag it, it's got a new growth tip in 3 days.

salifert test on the phosphate
the LFS was out of salifert nitrate test so I got aquarium Pharmaceuticals...it was a pain. I'm kinda guessing that this is the test thats wrong. I also did a 20 gallon water change after these tests.

I put a brown monti...which lived with no light for 3 weeks in, it's obviously fine...and I put in a chunk of monti undata...it's doing fine too...

I would try a digitata first. But must admit, with nitrates that high, I don't think I would believe that phosphate reading...

I am pretty sure Justin was not referring to the racists type nazi's.

Check this out from Random House Webster's College Dictionary;

"a person who is fanatically dedicated to or seeks to control a specified activity, practice, etc."

I think that's what they had in mind on the TV show too.

I would think someone German would be much more likely to be offended than someone jewish.

The nazis were a german political party. Naziism reflects much more negatively on them than the jews.

Oh ya back to your question, I agree with sk8r that you should put in some test corals first, starting with hardy digits or caps etc. If you are worried about putting in whole colonies, frag a piece off like Franky said and throw that in.

I would try and work on getting those nitrates down though, a little high for SPS.
