Sorry having trouble posting pics. Some of my frags in my new tank. Most are Jason Fox frags that I got when he came to my area. Getting good growth already. Tank is about two months old.
Looks good. From someone who just upgraded to a larger tank from a nano (sps dominant) I would be careful placing the frags close to each other. Consider how they grow and place them accordingly (branching/stags vs brush type vs tabling/plating) and give them plenty of room to grow.
Thanks. The only coral that is Brown is the maricultured one, they are hit or miss. The other corals are super vibrant I'm really happy, just have a crap camera. And yea that's a good point I will get a frag rack soon.
Ok got it since I know how using a crappy camera is. Lighting has a lot to do with how a pic will turn out. Not sayi g your sps look bad at all only that there is more hiding that can be brought out.
Care to share some info on your setup eg lighting, skimmer, filtrration, dosing, tank info.?
Yea I use an air prime it's a ten gallon nuvo fusion. Intank media basket with gfo and rox carbon. Eshopps nano skimmer and dose with kalkwasser via autotop off. The pump is an sw4 cranked up on wave mode. I'm still playing with my light settings. Uv is at 60 and working turning it up all the way. Have blues at 110 and whites at 30, green at 30 and experimenting with red higher at 50 since this is a low nutrients tank. And I only have one davinchi clown
Looks like a good start. SPS frags look 10x better when you remove them from the plug and glue them to your rocks. It also prevents them from falling off into the sand.
