One of the corals I bought yesterday at IMAC has some sort of parasite. It is too small to photograph with my current equipment so I will try to explain it.
First off, it is in quarantine. Wanted to get that out there before i heard the quarantine police come sliding into the driveway.
It appears to be some sort of small worm that has bored into the coral. It has several antennae like structures that stick out of the hole and they pulse similar to how a feather duster looks when it opens and closes. The appendages are clear/white and it pulses every couple of seconds.
Any ideas?
