sps question ( light )

Hey Guys, im getting into that sps fever. My question is will i be able to have succsess with stony sticks using two hydras (old 20led vers) with two t5 bulb suppliments ??? Is it strong enough to keep acros alive ?

I had decent results with vega blues and 2 t5s for around a year. I recently fell into some hydra 52s so that's what I currently use along with the 2 t5s. I do not attribute the just "decent results" to the lighting. I had my fair share of water quality/parameter issues during that time that retarded and slowed growth at times.

Yea i think ive seen your set up, so you replaced two vegas for two 52's ?

Yes the 52s were included in a tank deal.

I don't think you will have to stay away from certain sps. Some might not have the same color as they would under other lighting....halides or all t5s.

Solarensis, fire coral(although i dont think we can get this one anymore). I would just look up whichever species you are going to buy and see. Or just buy a few 5-10$ frags and see how they do.
