Robertus,
How often do you have to frag to keep the corals from touching?

Beautiful as always!!

Very nice robertus you dutch have some stunning set-ups im sure
What is the gallon size in us equivalent must be 65g?

Oh WOW, you've left me speechless (and that doesn't happen often lol)

Thank you for sharing this incredible tank.

I'm just starting my first SPS tank. I really didn't expect much as it's only a 29 gallon - until now - Now I think - "Hey, it's only 20g's smaller than yours" and I use a 150 halide too. YAHOOOOOO - you have totally inspired me. Congrats on the most incredible tank of SPS.

Thanks for the replies, guys

Made some changes in the middle section this week.
I bought an A. Speciosa and an nice A. Loripes.
They are a little pale yet but are very promising.
The A. speciosa is a bottlebrush coral with blue polyps and has a very fragile look and I really like it.

Robertus, with a system this lush and dense with SPS corals, if you aren't diligent about fragging, how often do you find the corals touching and having "war" chemical reactions...?

Hi Todd,

In my system I have to make choices.
I wanted a small system filled with lots of sps and if I want to keep simulating a much bigger tank I have to keep the proportions right.

So I have to work in this tank very often.
As I am a dentist I am used to working in small spaces :D

Sometimes I have to frag, sometimes I must remove corals.
But I always try to stay ahead of touching corals because this would give dead parts.

Grt,

Robertus.

Too funny, Robertus, Lol... Thanks for the great information and insight. You're dedication and work with your tank does work. I enjoy learning from you...

So do you wear gloves while trimming the corals and working in the tank...?
