SPS Solana

That definitely does help, especially when you include pictures!

I will use this new knowledge to continue to try to make my tank look as much like yours as possible.

Thanks for the response.

your tank is amazing, i love how clean all your equipment is. how did you adapt the output of your dosing pump to the j guest fitting? i just purchased a profilux stand alone dosing pump and i want to copy how you set yours up.

Ok, so you use a 20k Ushio bulb in your sunpod. Currently I'm using a Phoenix 14k. I've been decently happy, but would like a little more blue, but don't really want to lose the par. I have an all sps tank so I need the par... Do you think from your experience that the Ushio 20k would give enough par or did you lose a lot when you switched from the phoenix?

Honesty, since you are running the 250w MH, the 20k should provide more than enough par for good SPS growth. If you were running a 150w then that is a different story. I say go for it, you won't regret it.

Alright thanks... I was just originally running a 20k XM and EVERYTHING was browning out until I changed to the phoenix...

JGross,

Thanks for sharing your tank, it is amazing. I have a question on the Sunpod arm, is it custom made or standard accessory item from Current? Do you have a link where I could buy one? How is it attached?

Congrats on your job and good luck with the Elos. I will be checking in on you.

Thanks guys! Orlando is great so far! The weather is nice and there is a ton of stuff to do around the city.

Great tanks. I can understand how you keep the glass clean but how on earth do you keep the base so clean?
