SPS Starting to Bleach

Hi All,
Just started using an algae scrubber for the last few weeks while also running a dual reactor with GFO and carbon. My PO4 was sky high and now it's down to .009. Should I turn off the GFO and algae scrubber for a while to get the SPS happy again? Suggestions? Here are my current levels...

Salinity 1.025
Calcium 407
Alk 7.5
Mag 1360
P04 .009

Thank you!

Are they bleaching or dying ? If there are still polyps, it's bleaching. If there is just white skeleton, It's dying. If it's dying, your only hope is to frag a piece/pieces of the unaffected parts. You may have lowered the nutrient level to far to fast.

Yeah, there are very few SPS keepers that would want their PO4 that low. Some of us shoot for a PO4 of about 100 - 300 ppb.

ran into same issue with pax bellum reactor bringing down nutrients too much while on vacation. I suspect my friend missed some feedings while i was gone and it bottomed out. i came home to very unhappy corals and dinos all over the sand bed and rock. salifert NO3 and hanna ULR both showed zeros. Not good! started dosing sea chem products to boost PO4 and NO3 and took 3 months to get dinos under control but still losing a few corals which wont rebound.

I'm back to .05 PO4 and 10ppm NO3 which was where my tank was happiest. Gotta watch those dang chaeto reactors. when they take off, they can be too efficient.
