Thanks again all. I wanted to update this thread and let you know my current situation. I bumped my dkh up to 9 from the chronic low of 5-6 and have held it there for about a week now. Well within two days of hitting 9, I have seen a stop of the stn and new growth over the stn'd white bases. I was able to hit 9 by using my standard BRS 2 part dosing AND the addition of daily dosing of baked baking soda in the amount of 2 tsp dissolved in ro/di water. Thanks again all.

Fantastic! Seems like the alk swings are a common problem for STN. Amazing you are already starting to get growth over the STN area. Hope it continues to improve.
