As far as Reef Roids and Polpy Power goes...I've tried Reef Roids and didnt notice much. I think Andrew (Biggles/Darth Acro...or whatever else he calls himself these days) tried both and I dont think Andrew found them to be of much use at all.

Just to clarify, i feed the fish heavily and the only two 'additive' like products i use regularly because i have a very high opinion of them as a nutrition source aimed at the acros are reef roids and polyp booster. I treat polyp booster like amino acids - very potent product. Reef roids i use as a food aimed directly at anything in my system that utilizes micro sized foods be it acros, pods etc. If you shine a torch on your pods after lights out and dose reef roids you will see them running around in a frenzy chasing the stuff lol - to me that's a very good indicator that a product is going to be useful to my overall system.

Food and other additives won't color your acros up, if you supply the right light spectrum AND supply the corals with enough of the right nutrition whilst maintaining appropriate water conditions then your acros will be healthy and now capable of producing more saturated pigmentation along with relying less on zoa for nutrition imo.

Bump for updatez, or is it established, micro food in an SPS system is great if done

I just picked up Polyp Booster on sale at a LFS since no one around here will buy anything good.

Andrew, do you still use it along with Roids?

I stopped dosing everything other than the juice and lugol's before Xmas Mark. There is only fish food and the trace elements going in with no water changes for months.
