SPS Xmas Tree Decoration Time.

Been busy the last few days with baby #2, Sahin why couldn't you have warned me how busy it gets and told me to keep it in my pants! Anyway the real reason is I've been waiting for the kiwi slandering to calm down..and I've seen biggles colourful acros so I really don't have a leg to stand on!
As for Rudolph, he is quite big at 18cm tall and my partner has decided she wants to use it in the house. "That's too big to go in there, you can wrap it up and give it to me for Christmas." Alas it has been moved to her area of the house and I guess I'll be on the hunt for a smaller deco. This is all still Sahin's fault by the way.

Haha! Baby #3 is keeping me from doing water change this evening...looks like it will be a late one tonight as I will have to wait for the kids to go bed then carry out a water change...

From now one just take a cold shower mate...:lol: There should be no baby #3 if you follow that advice. :lol:

Goes without saying buddy, these guys don't realise that Aus and NZ share a unique symbiotic relationship that makes Benar and i more like brothers. NZ maintains a relatively low unemployment rate by sending them all over here and Aus is able to maintain a large budgetary deficit through successive governments simply by accepting them.

Whilst i don't mind taking on the role of keeping the peace between you guys, i'd appreciate it if we could all be a little kinder to each other from now on as this is the time to be merry after all :thumbsup:

Matt has finally started a new tank journal and his last SPS reef was just stunning despite his involvement so i hope everyone will join me in following what's sure to have us all mystified yet again when Matt creates another beautiful display

Good point Matt, i've been lazy and ignored the tree since the last update but tomorrow is a day off so the tree has been moved down south so the acro elves can jazz it up a bit more

Santa's Acro Workshop

I have four new decorations picked out so far and i'll take some pics of the elves at work tomorrow if you like so you can see what they get up to.

The occasional one gets sucked up by the return pump and shredded into the display Matt, how do you think i get the colors i do........

Took this shot last night in Santa's workshop - this is Tiny Tim and he looks a whole lot like green tinsel to me. :strooper: One of you better come up with a way to get Tim on the bloody tree that doesn't involve super glue otherwise .......

The only time I've ever seen those starfish come out is at night to feed. Not sure how we'll get him in the tree.. Maybe suggest to it that there are a couple of elves who would 'die' to be in its shoes...

Easy to sort this out Biggles.

Now what we need is that machine from the film "Honey I shrunk the kids"...sit Bello down on a chair and blast him with the machine. We then place the miniature Bello inside the tank at night...else Potatohead or the Notorious Anthias might attack him. :hammer:

When the alien starfish comes out at night, hopefully Bello is able to drag it up "enormous" tree, and plant the alien starfish at the top.

For his efforts, Bello gets a frag of the lovely Speciosia.
