Ok i plan on getting a squamy for my first clam, i have everything i need, it will be under 130 watts of PC lights, i plan on making a little stand, that on the top has a little rim for a little sand, and then the clam so the clam will be about 14 inches form the top of the water. The clam i plan to get is only about 3 inches so as it grows i am wondering if it will be able to shoot water on to the floor? I will be upgrading this christmas to a 75 with 6-54 watt T5 ho Teklight fixture so that will be plenty! of light for him, the 75 is 21 inches deep and the clam will still be on about a 4" platform, as it gets full groan will it be able to get water on the floor?

i wouldnt worry that much about that. they can squirt some water but for them to shoot it out of the tank something would really have to be messing with them (fish,crab....)
