Squamosa Clam on rock

will it be ok to place a squamosa clam on a flat rock? I been having a problem with it blowing sand all over the neighboring corals. Thought maybe this will get it to settle down. Been in the tank for about 6 months, just keep making circles and blowing sand everywhere.

How large is the clam, from the looks, it still seems young, so it would be fine for you to bury a flat rock under an inch of sand for it to attach to. Atleast that is what I have heard...

if it hits the rock and doesn't like it it can jut move off of it can't it, I say go for it, that and maybe take away some of the corals that are getting overed in sand.

I've seen full-size squamosas on soft bottoms, and right on top of rocks too. Just keep in mind that wherever you put it, it'll eventually get big! (hopefully)
