Squamosa or Maxima?

You know I read that whole article from reefkeeping magazine because I thought to myself "well I thought it was a squamosa, but everyone agrees it's a maxima..... maybe I need to brush up on my clam identification skills and read this article" then I get to the end of the thread only to find out I was right. Oh well it was good information none the less.

This was confusing...haha. I was beginning to question if my squamosa was really that or a Maxima.

I like the squa better.

yea I was really confused also in the first pic I thought to myself thats a squamosa and then I read it and I thought o ok
