Square back anthia in qt. possibly has flukes.

You're probably OK. Just watch for aggression from those tangs. I would recommend adding him when you know you are going to be home all day and can keep a watchful eye. Maybe over the 4th?

I may do it monday because ill have the day off. I own and operate a restaurant so ill be working at least a portion of the day on the fourth. I was thinking today that after all that the anthia and I went through trying to cure him, with a TON of help from you, I truly hope this thread can be of help to at least one person and their fish. I know we never got a clean diagnosis or anything but there is a good bit of very useful info in this thread, esp. For a disease or parasite rather that is clearly unknown. I know your prob sick of hearing it but seriously thanks again for everything. There was quite a few times throughout this process that I thought I had failed and the poor guy was doomed. I gotta say hes quite a resiliant fish. I never would have believed that I wouldnt be adding this fish to my DT in july if you told me so back when I bought him. Anyhow, if your interested, ill keep this thread updated when I add him in to let you know how he fares.

Yes, definitely keep me updated. And thank you again for all the kind words. Ya know, I see the same folks on here making themselves available, and offering fish rx advice over & over again. But not too often do I ever see anyone ever say "thank you" to these people. And I can tell you (and anyone else reading this) that when you do encounter a kind person, such as yourself, that says it... it makes you tend to take a personal interest in their problem and you find yourself checking their thread for updates. Everyone likes to feel appreciated. ;)

I totally forgot to let you know but the anthia made it to the 125 earlier this week! There was a little aggression from both tangs at first but the anthia didnt seem one bit concerned with them and they quickly gave up! He is eating like a horse and appears to be loving life. I still cant get him to eat anything but brine or mysis. He reacts to pellets and worms but doesnt eat them. Im hoping as he continues to watch the other fish eat them he will take an interest. Ill get a picture up tomorrow so you can see how beautiful he is now that hes happy and healthy.

Sounds good! Post a pic! He'll eventually learn to eat everything all the other fish are eating. I've had tangs that wouldn't touch nori until they got into the big tank and saw they were missing out. :)

He is so hard to photograph!! I took about 200 shots and these were the best I could get. Hes an active fish.
