Meet my new little buddy. I was out at the LFS and they had this little guy. He even came with his own piece of Tonga branch that he has hollowed out like a straw.

Good pics.
Either it is Gonodactylaceus glabrous or Gonodactylaceus graphurus.

Update:
In my opinion it is a female G. glabrous because there is no median carinule on sixth abdominal segment.

It is a female Gonodactylaceus. The rusty brown color is typical of females for several members of the genus. Some are a bit more orange than this. The orange meral spots are found in G. ternatensis, G. glabrous and G. graphurus. The median carinue distinguishes G. glabrous.

Wow I was right, but for the wrong reasons...can I get partial credit. :)

In my opinion it is a female G. glabrous because there is no median carinule on sixth abdominal segment.

What does that mean? Am I looking dorsal or ventral side?

You must look dorsal and the sixth addominal segment is the segment after the telson. Take a look at Roy's List. There you can find the difference.

Thank you Timmy.
I feel like such an idiot now. :D How I missed the links in those two species distinguishing charastics, I have no idea.

Looking at the pictuers last night at work they looked kind of dark, so knowing the distinguishing charastic I went back to the origional picture and I am seeing the Median Carinue on her. She is only about 3cm or so, making it hard to see. Should be fun to see if that comes in more or if its an aberition on my image.
