SR4 help

ok I have an sr4 skimmer I want to plumb about 2 feet from the sump. I was told to use a maxijet 1200 with this skimmer but I am afraid it wont be powerfull enough. any help would be great

i'm so confused.

My CPR SR4 needed a needlewheel pump to run. I'm not sure what you'd use the maxi for.
