Srarting TTM & Have Couple Questions

Well.... Came down with marine ich in my DT. So it begins! Have to TTM 9 fish. It is only showing on my yellow tang----that I did quarantine for 4 weeks and TTM!! But everyone has to be treated now (no I did not TTM the other fish. Had them in quarantine for 6 weeks and never noted a single sign of disease!). I've read stickies and reviewed A LOT of threads. I'm planning on the every 2 day plan for 12 days and I have some critters I'll have to separate. So I'll have a few buckets to change every 48 hrs. I went and purchased a boat load of items that I can just throw away. My question is how low of a temp can the fish tolerate? It's getting warm here now (80's) and I can leave the air off. I didn't buy 24 heaters to throw away and I am so afraid of contamination. I know it says to clean in bleach and let dry, but it still worries me. I do not want to do this again. I have a couple permanent (empty of fish) tanks that I have pods growing in and the water does go as low as 70-72.

Also, is there any contraindication to using Styrofoam coolers for holding? Anything in the make up of them that might be toxic or harmful to the fish? I bought a couple of cases of nice size ones and want to just throw them away. I'll be tossing all strainers, thermometers, air stones and tubing. So my goal is to not reuse anything. This is daunting but has to be done. Poor fish, it's like a dog having fleas eating away at them so bad they are miserable and get anemic and sick. Thanks!!

This is just curiosity but did you consider copper. With that many fish, I would just get two Brute garbage cans and a bunch of cupramine. Two heaters, a couple of powerheads and 72 days later...

I do have cupramine and copper tests on hand. I'll look into that method too. I don't have any fish (I don't think, I'll have to double check) that are sensitive to copper. Thanks!
