SRC 2007 Staff members needed

ORCA is preparing to host its second Southeastern Reef Conference to be held in July of 2007

For those were around for the 2005 SRC, they will recall what a huge success that was. Julian Sprung and Martin Moe were just a few of the top head line speakers that attended. The Frag Auction wound up being a MONSTER Event and the Raffle event gave away tons of awesome gear donated by some of the top manufacturers and vendors in the hobby

2007 SRC is now ramping up. In just a couple short weeks we will be having a Staff meeting to "kick-off" the planning for the next SRC in July. We have 3 ~ 4 open slots left for members who are looking to get involved with what is quickly becoming one of the top talked about conferences.

The speaker line up for the 2007 SRC is going to be awesome. The Frag and Auction events promise to be bigger and better than ever! Come on out and support ORCA and help us build the best SRC Event !

hey Matt you have my info and I'd be interested- I also got your email and will call you this week. Its nearly finals time at school and i've been bogged down this last week finishing up all kinds of tests and the general horrible torture engineering classes put you through

But yeah count me in i'd love to be a part of it!

I have two hands, half a brain, and a little time on my hands...what positions are available? If you still need it, I can help out. I can't be a secratary or anything, because I can't take notes...my ADD gets the best of me on that end. I can help plan, prepare, and set up if needed...

Thanks for the interest in helping with the SRC event. Oddly, my original post was sent out at the end of last year looking for volunteers...

We now have a full compliment of Staff Volunteers at this time and all the sub-committees are fully staffed also.

The day of the event we may need a few additional "foot soldiers". If you are still interested please see me at the next ORCA meeting.
