Attention: SRC Frag Auction Registration Participants
SRC is coming! Just around the corner believe it or not!! What an exciting event to attend with speakers such as Julian Sprung, Eric Borneman, Sanjay Joshi, and Richard Harker, not to mention the outstanding raffle items to be given away. Imagine walking away with a new Infinity Tank! Awesome!! (Pictures of the tank and stand will be posted soon.)
Now the really exciting news, The Frag Auction!!!
Slated for later in the day after everyone has had the opportunity to hear from some of the most noted names in the hobby about properly caring for and keeping a reef aquarium you will now have the opportunity to bid on some exotic corals brought in from some of the best local and distant reef keepers around.
Register Now:
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to share your rare and exotic corals with fellow hobbyists whom are just as excited as we are about reef keeping.
The web site is slated to start accepting frag auction registrations as of June 21st.
The frag limit will be set at 75 and no more than 5 frags per registered participant. There will be no duplicates allowed unless this has been authorized by the governing body of SRC/ORCA based upon coral rarity and or demand. Please contact president@o-r-c-a.com if this is a concern. This is a first come first serve process.
Please visit the website for all the details regarding the frag auction.

We will require photos to be uploaded to the web hosting site of your choice provided they can accept high enough resolution to be displayed on large screen format during the auction as there will be no previewing the frags during the day. We are looking for a minimum of 1024x768, even higher if possible. So take some great photos of the frag and the mother colony if possible. This format will allow the frags to be left undisturbed during the entire event under controlled conditions for their protection and safety. This will provide the winning bidder with a coral frag that been handled as gently and carefully as possible.
Remember quantities are limited so register your frags as soon as possible to be sure and get in the action and excitement that frag auctions always bring!!
The SRC Frag Auction Sub Committee thanks you for your participation and wishes everyone a most enjoyable time at the 2007 Southeastern Reef Conference.
