St. James frag swap "Offical thread" Feb 23rd

I will see what I will part with. I will bring a few things. Acan, frog spawn torch, brains not sure but somethings It will be a surprise.

Put me down for a torch and maybe a brain. Id have to see it first. Im a picky brainer :)

Anyone interested in a nano? I have a 12 gallon nano cube. It is the standard version not the dx. It is totally stock. I have been running it for the last 4 months. I will include about 15 pounds of live rock. There is no stand. I am looking in the ballpark of $150. The only reason I am thinking of selling it is because I have set up a seahorse tank and instead of filling this nano I have been worrying about the seahorse tank. Let me know if we can work something out. It comes with the sand that is in it too.

Ice cap dimmer

Ice cap dimmer

I have Solar 1000L for sale. This is a dimming unit is for an Ice cap 430 or 660 Ballast only....I have changed to T-5 lighting on my 120 and it will not work on T-5 bulbs. It has many features: Below is info from a retailer.........You will need to order a ground plane kit for it to work properly and you can get that from here:
http://www.bluelineaquatics.com/products/dimmer/index.html

I paid $250 for it and $35 for plane kit, it worked great and I sent it back to get the firmware update so it is current. I will let it go for $200 at the frag meet. If it does not get sold, I will be putting on Ebay..........

The Solar series controllers were created to offer the hobbyist a way to simulate natural rhythms over the home aquarium. The use of Solar Controllers allows for a more realistic was to monitor and control many of the ever changing parameters of your tank. The Solar 1000 series of controllers are loaded with features for the discerning aquarist, including the dimming of IceCap ballasts.
Approved by IceCap, the L-1 is the only controller with the following features:
Status Screen - This screen sequentially displays the following information: time, date, weather forecast, dawn, sunrise, noon, sunset and dusk. Time & Date - Set the current time and date for local or alternate time zones. Dawn & Dusk - Allows for a gradual increase in the morning to eliminate the sudden shock of high intensity lighting. It will also reverse this process at the end of your day. Seasonal Changes - Program the Summer and Winter Solstices, and the length of day. Dawn, dusk, etc. will automatically adjust with the seasons. Daily Intensity Variations - Allows the user to recreate the natural increase and decrease of light intensity as the sun travels through the sky during the day. Storm Center - Randomly creates sunny, partly sunny or mostly cloudy days. You set the level of storm activity for the month or seasonally. The day's forecast is displayed on the status screen. Lunar Cycle - Features a moonlight port that can be used with a small incandescent bulb to simulate the phases of the moon. Studies have shown that many corals spawn in sync with the lunar cycle.

I am not going to be able to make the swap - will be out of town in Utica. However, I was hoping to pick up some hardware items that i was buying from Razz. Is there anyone in binghamton/endicott/vestal area that would be willing to bring these back to town for me? Then I could pick them up the following week?

Test kits

Does anyone that is comming to the frag meet on Saturday have some New test kits? I want to check my Calcium and Alkalinty readings on my kits against the readings from some new kits. I would pay for the tests. I use Salifert as my prefered kits, but if someone has another highend kit that would be cool. I'm having some water chemistry issues and I'm trying to narrow it down.
