Stab at taking pictures of corals!

some pictures i just took and thought id share :) im still messing with my camera and still have no idea what to do!!

Great start! try using aperture priority mode instead of manual, center weighted metering instead of matrix, same F11 and drop the ISO to 100 (3200 is way too high), set white balance back to auto (if you want go to white balance -> auto -> and set the matrix to the top right to offset the blue, catch is that you need to remember to set it back if you take non-coral pictures!)

then white balance against an 18% gray card. you can do this with the Nikon Capture NX2 sw which has a 60 day trial. see here: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=18082659&postcount=3

Scary how much hidden info there is in your pictures eh?
