I just received my 4 pump doser from GHL Direct 2 weeks ago... I just began to set it up tonight.. What I noticed when testing was that the 1st pump does not shut off when the dosing amount has been reached.. It continues for some time and then turns off by itself.. My primary reason for purchasing this doser was to be able to dose vodka.. Now I'm a bit skeptical because this could cause a disaster in my tank. I read the GHL forum and it talks about humidity and water contact being the possible cause of a pump not stopping.. HOwever, I just took it out of the box this evening and no humidity and/or water has gotten to the unit.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also is there a certain amount of time that you should hold the priming button down on each pump before letting it run by itself? I noticed pockets of air forming inside the dosing tube..
Thanks in advance.
