Can the stand alone doser be used for water changes, is there a way to add the sensors to it?

sorry for late reply i missed this one 
No it can not as you have no way of regulating water level. however if you have the profiLux controller and the GHL slave doser then yes you can as you have access to the level sensor programming.
I would only suggest using a doser for water changes on a very low scale of water amount as you are dosing ML through the unit not gallons.
