stand alone skimmer?

Is there such a thing as a stand alone skimmer? I would like to buy one not build one. My sump is kinda small, the area I have for a skimmer is 5 x 11.5. I have a sea clone in there now and I think it burnt up when it ran out of water. Anyway, I have room on the side of the sump or if I could find a badass skimmer that would fit into that chamber. Thats a small foot print, but tunze makes a good skimmer that fits that foot print, its actaully smaller. marinedepot sells them

My LFS loves the Tunze skimmers. Is the 5 x 11.5 footprint the size of in-sump space or the space beside the sump?
