Stand is ready for stain.

I coated the whole inside and top with an epoxy swimming pool paint . I'm going to drill a hole in the back down by the floor of the stand so I can run a line out thru the wall to a drain in the other room. Look at the photo were it still looks wet inside. I filled it with water to see if it leaked...not a drop. I started doing all the stain work on the stand , trim and doors the other day. I think one more coat and then the sealer and it will be done. I have to install the trim and doors after I get it in the house. Its a little to wide to fit thru the doorways with them on. After I get it in I'll take some more photo's. I've never really worked with wood that much before but I've shocked myself on how well this looks with the stain on. The hardest part I had with it was getting untreated 4x4's. I ended up having to go to a mill about 45 miles away to buy them.
One thing I would like to know, Do I put foam sheeting under the tank ? The tank is cell cast not glass.

What is the skin of the stand made from? Plywood?

I used 1/2 inch Birch Plywood from Lowe's ,I mounted it to the 4x4 frame then used a router to cut out the door holes. I'm still working on the doors. They are Birch solid framed with copper metal skin inlay that I heated with a torch then coated so they have a old but shinny look.
