Linckia stars add color and are out often. If you get one never expose it to air and I'm not sure if it has ever been determined what they actually eat in a aquarium

starfish, they have been proven to eat starfish, asternias suprisingly so if you have alot of these you could get a linkia

It's probably "the red spined star" or something.

I think what your talking about is called the Red Knob Sea Star

I have 2 red serpent stars and 2 tigers and they are awesome will come out when I feed the tank
