Starboard question

Just cut my Starboard for my 40 breeder. This is my first BB tank.

What is the properties of Starboard underwater (salt of course)? Does it swell like acrylic? If so, how much? I am putting this in an acrylic tank so it is possible that I could have swelling from both materials. Certainly don't want the tank to pop due to internal pressure.
