Starboard Reef is up and running

Joe, you're going to love this. It's supposed to finally be flat tomorrow, and not again probably for weeks. I'm going out and haul as much water as I can.
Then I'm stripping this baby down. Adding a little more rock for looks. And a lot more fish.

:D

What no sand ?:eek2: Fish need sand don't they ?

I need to throw up a few updated shots , But I like having fish and anemonies .

Are you going to change your lighting ?

ROTFL

You got the double split, this thread is in three parts now. :D

I'm not changing a thing. I arranged these rocks to look right with corals growing on them. Without the corals, they look sorta flat. So I'm just adding a few rocks to make it look better.

I'm looking for a purple gigantea, if you see one grab it for me. :)

wow, is that a first? TRIPPLE SPLIT!!! WOAaaaaaa

Our "Calling all Younger Reefers" thread has split nearly 50x I'd assume. I'm going back to read some of the updates in this thread I've missed, I hear talk of a new tank!?

OK, so here's the plan. It really is flat today, so I'm hauling water.

Tomorrow, the plan is to take the corals to the south greenhouse first thing in the morning, and start re-arranging the rocks. It's a good time to take everything apart and clean it too.

I might be able to post new pictures of the re-vamped Starboard Reef on Sunday.

Is it still a reef with no corals? :)

Now I have to see some pictures!

It's a reef post hurricane Andrew. :)

That was easy enough, flat calm, no clear water until you have to dodge tankers though.

Someone be on the lookout for a purple gigantea anemone for me. :)

Thanks!

Let me give Joleen a call.

If I only have "one" anemone, it's going to be a very special, one of a kind anemone.
